On April 3–4, 2027, the window tint, PPF, wrap and detailing industries will come together at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre for Canada’s Top Tinter Expo & Competition.
This is more than a trade show. It is a live showcase of professional skill, product innovation, business opportunity and industry community. With more than 65 competitors, 45 exhibitor booths and 50 competition spots, the event is positioned as the #1 tint expo and competition in Canada: and one of the biggest automotive film industry gatherings in North America.
Whether you are a professional installer, shop owner, manufacturer, distributor or automotive aftermarket brand, this is the weekend to compete, connect and grow.
Why This Is the #1 Tint Expo and Competition in Canada
A great industry event should do more than fill a convention hall. It should create opportunities that matter to the people attending.
Canada’s Top Tinter Expo & Competition is built around four key experiences:
- Live installation competitions
- Direct access to leading brands and suppliers
- Professional networking across Canada and the USA
- Education, demonstrations and business growth
The event brings together window tint installers, PPF professionals, vehicle wrappers, flat glass installers, detailers, shop owners, manufacturers and automotive industry leaders under one roof.
For attendees, it is a chance to see the latest films, tools and technology in action. For competitors, it is an opportunity to test their skills under pressure. For vendors and sponsors, it is a direct path to the professionals who buy, install and recommend products every day.
Four Competitions. One Industry Weekend.

The competition floor is the centrepiece of the event, with four major competitions designed to showcase different areas of the film and installation industry.
Great Canadian Tint Competition
The Great Canadian Tint Competition is the main event for automotive window film installers.
Competitors will work under controlled conditions and be evaluated on more than speed. Quality, cleanliness, precision, film handling, edge consistency, finishing and professional execution all matter.
This is the opportunity to demonstrate what you can do when the clock is running and the industry is watching. The winner will earn the title of Great Canadian Tint Champion 2027.

Flat Glass Championship
Flat glass installation requires a different technical approach from automotive tinting. Measurement, preparation, cutting, water removal, edge control and consistent finishing are critical.
The Flat Glass Championship gives residential and commercial window film installers the chance to compete against other specialists and showcase the precision required for professional architectural film work.
The highest-scoring finalist will be named the Canadian Flat Glass Champion 2027.
Wrap Competition
Vehicle wrappers will also take to the competition floor for a timed test of preparation, positioning, stretch management, corners, recesses, edges and finishing.
The Wrap Competition is designed to reward clean, professional installations: not simply the fastest work. Competitors will need to demonstrate control, accuracy and consistency while working within the allotted time.
The winner will be crowned the Canadian Wrap Champion 2027.
Canada vs. USA Cross Border Showdown
The Canada vs. USA Cross Border Showdown adds an international dimension to this Canadian tint competition.
Selected installers from both countries will compete using equivalent materials, tools and working conditions. Challenges may include automotive side-window installation, film shrinking, rear-window work, precision cutting and finishing.
Individual performances will contribute to each country’s overall score. At the end of the showdown, either Team Canada or Team USA will claim the 2027 Cross Border Showdown title.
This is more than a technical competition. It is a chance to represent your country, your shop and your community in front of the North American industry.

A Serious Event for Professional Installers
A window tint competition should reward professional-quality work, not just speed. That is why the judging framework focuses on the details that matter in real installations:
- Contamination control
- Edge and gap consistency
- Film handling
- Cutting and finishing
- Creases, fingers and installation defects
- Work area organization
- Safety and professionalism
- Time management
Competitors will receive information about the official format, time limits, tools and materials before the event. The goal is to create a fair and exciting environment where installers can demonstrate their abilities under comparable conditions.
With 50 competition spots available, registration is limited. If you have ever considered entering a window tint competition, this is the time to step forward.
More Than a Canadian Window Tint Expo
The competition is only one part of the weekend.
With 45 booths planned, the expo floor will give attendees access to manufacturers, distributors, tool suppliers, software companies, film brands, equipment providers and other businesses serving the automotive film and detailing industries.
Attendees can expect opportunities to:
- Discover new window tint, PPF and wrap products
- Watch live demonstrations
- Compare tools and equipment
- Meet suppliers and distributors
- Build relationships with installers from across North America
- Find ideas to improve shop efficiency and service offerings
- Create new business and partnership opportunities
For shop owners, the event is also an opportunity to bring team members and evaluate products together. The best purchasing decisions often come from seeing a product demonstrated, asking technical questions and speaking directly with other professionals who use it.
Why Vendors and Sponsors Should Exhibit

For brands seeking growth in Canada, this event provides a focused opportunity to meet a highly relevant audience.
A booth puts your company face-to-face with installers and shop owners who influence product selection, recommend brands to customers and make purchasing decisions for their businesses. Sponsorship packages provide additional visibility before, during and after the expo.
Available opportunities include standard and premium exhibitor booths, as well as bronze, silver, gold, platinum, presenting and competition sponsorship packages.
At the time of publication, 15 booths and three sponsorship opportunities remain.
Exhibitors and sponsors can use the event to:
- Generate qualified leads
- Demonstrate products in person
- Build Canadian brand awareness
- Meet distributors and shop owners
- Recruit dealers and installation partners
- Support live competitions
- Create content and social media exposure
- Build long-term relationships in the industry
