We Didn’t Create Another Trade Show. We Created What We Felt the Industry Was Missing.
Canada’s Top Tinter Expo & Competition was created with a simple belief: Canada’s tint, PPF, wrap and detailing industry deserves a major event of its own.
An event built around the installers. An event where manufacturers actually meet the people using their products. An event where shop owners can discover what’s next, installers can learn from each other, and talented professionals can step onto a competition floor and put their skills to the test.
We wanted to create a weekend where the industry doesn’t just attend — it participates.
That’s why we’re bringing it together in one destination at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre.
Why We Created It
Through the Tint Academy, our team has spent years travelling across Canada and the United States, working directly with installers, students, shop owners, trainers, manufacturers and industry professionals.
We’ve seen incredible talent.
We’ve seen small installers turn skills into businesses. We’ve watched shops grow, new technologies change the way people work, and an entire generation of entrepreneurs enter the tint, PPF, wrap and detailing industries.
But we also saw an opportunity.
Canada needed a place for this community to come together on a major scale.
Not simply another room filled with booths.
We wanted live competitions, real education, product demonstrations, networking, manufacturers, vendors, installers and business owners all under one roof.
So instead of waiting for someone else to build it, we decided to build it.
Our Goal Is Bigger Than One Weekend
Our goal is to help strengthen and connect the Canadian automotive appearance industry.
We want an installer from Vancouver to meet a manufacturer from the United States. We want a new shop owner from Winnipeg to learn from an established operator from Toronto. We want manufacturers entering Canada to meet the people who could become their next dealers.
And we want talented installers who spend every day perfecting their craft to finally have a stage where those skills can be recognized.
That is why competition is such an important part of this event.
The Great Canadian Tint Competition, Cross Border Showdown – Canada vs USA, Flat Glass Challenge and Wrapper Battle aren't side attractions.
They're about craftsmanship, professionalism and recognition.

Canada’s Top Tinter Expo & Competition was founded by the team behind Tint Academy, an organization built around hands-on installer education.
For years, our mission at Tint Academy has been focused on the installer.
We've travelled, trained, listened and worked alongside people at virtually every stage of this industry — from someone touching window film for the first time to experienced installers and established shop owners.
That experience gave us a unique perspective.
We don't just see an industry of products. We see an industry of people.
